Tira Yugen comics

  I have managed a few more renders of comic #6, working towards the inevitable ... errr ... climax. I mean ... it may be a bit of a spoiler, but yeah as was obvious at the end of #5, Anna and Kal can't really delay it any longer.  Anyway, I thought I'd share details on my recent thinking; some of my favourite interactions have been between Chun and the main characters via Zoom - I did originally wonder about including her in the plot, having her join the other two. I even wrote some awkward fumbling scenes where Chun joined the bubble. Buuuut ... I have decided not to include Chun in Anna and Kal's apartment. I think it makes sense as a believable relationship and the believability provides a strong part of the erotic feeling of the series for me, so I'm going to keep it these two and steer clear of the temptation to make it a threesome. I just don't know anybody in the real world who has successfully maintained a three-person sexual relationship. In fact I really

  Well, it seems that this blog is still running, despite Google's best efforts, so I managed to log in and can now give you all a little update! A few weeks ago I wrote the final scripts for comics #6 and #7, and last week I even made a start creating the first few 3D scenes of #6! So that's good news! I don't know when I'm going to get the time to complete it, but I will hop into this Rather Magnificent project whenever I can grab an hour here or there over the next few months, and will update this blog whenever I can. In the meantime, I hope people are having a wonderful April! ~ Tira   PS. I re-read through my comic series last week, and I have to admit I did enjoy it! It has quite an innocent, enjoyable sort of vibe to it, huh? It sort of felt joyful, easy going. Well, I will try and continue that vibe with the next comic, for sure 🥰

Eugh, it seems Google have made this blog basically inaccessible, so I've switched it back to 'non-adult'. I mean it's a pretty wholesome blog really, so it should be fine. I thought it would be more adult than it turned out to be, but there's nothing too risque here, after all. Anyway, if the blog gets completely closed (or goes quiet for months because I get arbitrarily locked out again), I guess wait a few weeks and then ... google me (the irony is not lost); no doubt you'll find my work out there some other place. Hi all, it's late January, hooray! I've had a few moments here and there the last few weeks, and rather than spend the time writing the next comic (which might be sensible ...) - instead I played with some alternative scenes for no discernible reason other than it's fun to set up new scenes and play with Poser ... and apart from setting up the apartment to begin with, I haven't done much scene building recently, so its been nice to just sort of ... do that. Anyway,  you may know, Anna is based on 'orange dress woman' given away by Sindy Anna Jones a few years back, but apart from a quick snapshot of her in the dress in a flashback in comic #1 I haven't actually used the dress - which is a shame because it's a lovely dress, I think. So here are some random renders, and some playing about :)

Just popping in to say Happy Christmas everyone! I'm so glad people liked the recent comic - I'm really proud of it, and very happy that it struck a few serious/joyful chords with people.  Particularly the guy who said his favourite thing was "discovering that women thought it was a good thing to be treated as equals"! Haha, ah well, yes that is indeed an absolutely basic thing, really. Sorry you're learning this from an erotic comic, but as long as it is taken onboard who cares where that particular life lesson comes from, eh?   Comic #5 is done! Hooray! It's 88 pages long - my longest yet! We continue with our awkwardly-related couple, through the next logical stages of their will-they-won't-they unravelling adventure together, and it's eeeeven more joyful!Whaaaaat?? Champagne! Computer's just doing the final few renders, pages are mostly done ... The Rather Magnificent Family Bubble comic #5 will be out (by) this Friday! Hooray! I mean it probably would've been out last week, but some guy keeps saying "Waiting" ... "Waiting for this" ... "Waiting" ... "When's it out???" - and it's just kind of annoying, so I've not been in any particular rush to complete the thing lol. Aaaaaanyway, entitlement aside, I'm excited to release #5 because it's a great little comic hehehh! It's the longest comic yet at just under 90 pages, and continues the silliness and real-conversations kinda vibe I've been going for, and I'm super pleased with it! It has some really rather funny bits, too. So that's ... rather splendid. FRIDAY! or maybe Thursday ... who knows ...  

  Okay! I'm working on the last little bits of this comic, the last scene etc, and thought I'd just take a look at that intro image I put on each comic - so here it is, animated! Yay! Minor spoiler; they kiss in comic #5. But then, they kiss at the end of comic #4, so it's not that much of a surprise, huh? I'm looking forward to releasing this comic; I just noticed I've been giggling and smiling as I work on it, which is always a good sign hehh :) ~ Tira

  Okay sometimes when you load a scene file and the graphs of the animation timeline don't stand up to stepping back (long story; sine wave parabolas, keyframes etc), you get this. It's ... not right, whatever it is. Kinda looks like an AI tried to "Create a big dick comic in the style of Tira Yugen" haha! Aaaanyway. I'll do a proper update on Friday but the next comic is looking gooooood (better than this cursed picture anyway! Hey maybe this counts as a Halloween post ... yeah I'll change the date on it so it fits. Spooooky! Woooo etc). Also, someone asked if I have social media: no I don't. The rotting demise of social media is God's way of teaching us why billionaires shouldn't be in charge of anything bigger than a cup.

      Ahh, champagne. There are lots of ways to enjoy it, but ... you know. Some ways are better than others. Ever done this? I have. It's cold as all heck, and it goes bloody everywhere, immediately. Straight to all your warmest bits, I swear. Anyway, this and many other real-life experiences upcoming in comic #5, check back. I have completed the first (and most complex) half of the new comic! So we're getting through it pretty well. Check back on this blog: I'll release hints and stuff as we get closer - the only thing I'll say right now is it will be best enjoyed with a bottle of champagne (/cava/prosecco). See rejected render on the right. I rejected this pic because it was goong to be on like page #2, and the focus on her cleavage is just too distracting at this early stage of the comic, heheh. Also, as someone asked - if you would like to contribute to the comic and buy me some 3d Content or a gift card - Daz3d is a good way to do that. Anyway comic #5; unlike comic #4, there's no nasty surprises in this one, so we can all relax and look forward to a jolly, fun little comic released, for free, sometime this side of Christmas!   Okay, at some point my characters will need to sit down and get some food in them, we don't want them passing out now, do we?! No.  So I've built a meal scene and it took far more effort than I'd expected haha! So I will blog about it even if nobody cares ... because I do. Now I probably could have cut corners creating this meal, but then my comics wouldn't be my comics, would they? They wouldn't be works of love and intricacy, they'd just be rough fantasies spaffed out into the world as fast as possible. And nobody needs that.  So here is a little lighting test; some beautiful displacement-mapped bread, some fine bump-mapped reflective tabletop grain, a glass with actual caustics appearing (that's light transmission; the bright spot to the right of the glass above), the reflective side of a bottle of champagne, the deep reds of a full bottle of wine, a nice shiny plate and an admittedly slightly crap-looking plate of spaghetti. After a short intermission while Google locks me out of my own account and then deletes some of my writing (wow, thanks Google, so helpful), I thought I'd pop in to say hello. Hello!  Right, I'm back in so here are some answers to your questions! Yay! "If Anna the sister of Kal's mother, how comes they have the same family name?" ~ good question. Either [1] Kal's parents are divorced and he and his mum chose to revert to the mother's name, Smit, or [2] parents were never married, used mother's name, or [3] are married but used the mother's maiden name anyway. All three options are pretty common in post-patriarchal setups. This is not to diminish marriage itself, which remains a profound and wonderful thing - two people vowing to honour each other will always be an amazing thing to celebrate. Okay ... it's eighty pages long, many weeks of effort, and full of madness and wonder. Genuinely, as I sit out here in the summer evening with a cool glass of white (Riesling, on this occasion) and watch it upload, I am super proud of this comic; it draws on lots of real-life experiences, and I think the eroticism comes across all the stronger for it.   Comic 4 is just days away, with literally a few tweaks and a few minor things that need answering, and then I will release it for free here on my blog.  I have to say, having read through the draft - it is such a joyful comic. This was a nice surprise, you sort of never know, when you're creating a story, how it will feel to read through. But this one ... I think it is my favourite of the four so far! Anyway check back.

Okay I've made a call on this comic and instead of keeping going and churning out 100+ pages, I'm going to cut the day at about noon; there has just been TOOOO much happening in the morning for Kal and Anna to just skip through it, so this is going to be packaged as one half-day comic, like comics #2 and #3 were. So it's good news because that means a sooner release! In fact if I can find the time, it might even be ... this week?!?! Here is a little outfit fun. Anna's socks took more customisation effort than anything else in any of my other comics, so I'm going to leave them on her!

  Okay I've gotta be honest: I'm enjoying making comic #4. I've now just about finished the scene files; that doesn't mean I've finished the renders, but it means ... we're CLOSE! EEEEHH!!! I'll blog again when I'm done and am putting the final pages together :) Here is a little gif showing some adjustments to lovely Anna. I figure a strapless bra makes sense for her final outfit that I have just put together; but if she wore a strapless bra it would need to do some heavy lifting, and so I've put some effort into lifting her into it. And I've also adjusted the bra so it seems more like it's a little undersized and straining to do the job. Because ... that happens in real life. We don't want to let go of our expensive, much-loved bras, do we? I have to admit, I'm really enjoying making this comic. I was laughing out loud almost constantly while putting together some of the pages recently. Unfortunately I can't really share some preview renders here because they're almost all spoilers! Oh no! Here's a very boring render to keep you all going though: Ahh. Lovely. Okay, I have done ... 36 pages of comic number four! Yay! I think I'll either make this one a very big comic (like maybe 100+ pages), or do what I did for comics 2 and 3 ... split it up into daytime / evening comics. Hmm, yes maybe I'll do that, otherwise comic four won't be out for over a month, and we don't want to wait that long, do we?! Nope. Check back then :)

I've been doing some work on this blog, including an exciting new Feedback page - please do leave some feedback about any of my first three comics on that page, if you like; it will help me :) And I haven't had a chance to blog about it - been so busy recently and I've been meaning to, but ... after a few email back-and-forths with Sindy Anna Jones (bit of a hero and a mentor for me), the Rather Magnificent Family Bubble is officially within the Sindy (/&STFW) comic universe!!!! I am so excited about this! Well, I was a few months ago when it happened, haha! How it happened was I had some ideas for maybe weaving a few of my characters into their Lithium comic plot, and they have kindly added me into their series listing at the end of their recent standalone comic, Grace, look: ... anyway, the plot tie-in will start to make more sense within my comic number four.   Eaahhhhhh. Funny how my silly little comics have resonated with so many people, and with no effort on my part to distribute them, I notice they're in lots of different countries and being shared in some interesting places, heheh. Perhaps this is because my comics are about real life. About those moments that are so unbearably special, so nothing-y on the face of them, but that strike us in the guts when they happen. So when we write/draw/make music about those things, if they are real - that art connects with people in a deep way, because we all know ... yeah. I've felt that one. I've seen that curve, or felt that awkwardness. I've smelled that smell during that hug. I've accidentally stroked that arm or touched that hand while passing a mug of coffee. I've nuzzled a bit too close during a reunion, and felt something. I've stayed overnight somewhere and shared that bathroom, and maybe I didn't see anything, but maybe they did. Maybe, maybe. Ahhh, real

  Enjoying putting together a few scenes right now. It's been great reading some of the reviews and feedback of my first few comics, and though I'm not rushing the fourth comic out, I am still working on it - slowly but surely!  I'm being careful to keep the tension up in this one, it's so tempting to just plough ahead and get to the juicy bits but ... ohhhhh so much fun to take it slow as well. Hehehh. Slow means believable, and I think believable means hot. I hope everyone's summer goes well, I will be taking some time out and walking through some forests and along some beaches, they seem to be pretty good at restoring me. I'm not going to give updates on the comic until I'm at least halfway done on the rendering, so I guess just check back in a month and see if we're getting there yet - it all depends on forests and beaches and friends and sunshine :)

  OK I thought I'd update the blog purely to say ... sexy .  This is basically why I started doing this comic; these nothing-y moments, you know? In real life, these are the moments when the real sexiness happens, and pr0n never, ever seems to get it right. Ahhh, life. Ahhh, love.
