Tira Yugen comics

I've been doing some work on this blog, including an exciting new Feedback page - please do leave some feedback about any of my first three comics on that page, if you like; it will help me :) And I haven't had a chance to blog about it - been so busy recently and I've been meaning to, but ... after a few email back-and-forths with Sindy Anna Jones (bit of a hero and a mentor for me), the Rather Magnificent Family Bubble is officially within the Sindy (/&STFW) comic universe!!!! I am so excited about this! Well, I was a few months ago when it happened, haha! How it happened was I had some ideas for maybe weaving a few of my characters into their Lithium comic plot, and they have kindly added me into their series listing at the end of their recent standalone comic, Grace, look: ... anyway, the plot tie-in will start to make more sense within my comic number four.   Eaahhhhhh. Funny how my silly little comics have resonated with so many people, and with no effort on my part to distribute them, I notice they're in lots of different countries and being shared in some interesting places, heheh. Perhaps this is because my comics are about real life. About those moments that are so unbearably special, so nothing-y on the face of them, but that strike us in the guts when they happen. So when we write/draw/make music about those things, if they are real - that art connects with people in a deep way, because we all know ... yeah. I've felt that one. I've seen that curve, or felt that awkwardness. I've smelled that smell during that hug. I've accidentally stroked that arm or touched that hand while passing a mug of coffee. I've nuzzled a bit too close during a reunion, and felt something. I've stayed overnight somewhere and shared that bathroom, and maybe I didn't see anything, but maybe they did. Maybe, maybe. Ahhh, real ...

  Enjoying putting together a few scenes right now. It's been great reading some of the reviews and feedback of my first few comics, and though I'm not rushing the fourth comic out, I am still working on it - slowly but surely!  I'm being careful to keep the tension up in this one, it's so tempting to just plough ahead and get to the juicy bits but ... ohhhhh so much fun to take it slow as well. Hehehh. Slow means believable, and I think believable means hot. I hope everyone's summer goes well, I will be taking some time out and walking through some forests and along some beaches, they seem to be pretty good at restoring me. I'm not going to give updates on the comic until I'm at least halfway done on the rendering, so I guess just check back in a month and see if we're getting there yet - it all depends on forests and beaches and friends and sunshine :)

  OK I thought I'd update the blog purely to say ... sexy .  This is basically why I started doing this comic; these nothing-y moments, you know? In real life, these are the moments when the real sexiness happens, and pr0n never, ever seems to get it right. Ahhh, life. Ahhh, love. Next comic: not sure, haven't had much of a chance to work on it, but the bits that are done are ... 👌

An architect commented on one of my posts, saying they couldn't see how the staircase would hold itself up - it's a fair question! As you can see from these images from the upcoming comic, there is a main central steel pillar with a kink in it which holds the main load, and which leads from floor to ceiling. The top step would be bolted to the sub-floor girderwork all along its lower edge, and there are substantial zigzag sides on the steps themselves - all welded together I believe this incomplete system would be easily able to support a couple of people before showing a few mm of flex, despite the fact that the handrail isn't complete. In fact even without any sort of handrail, I think a welded steel setup like that could probably hold half a ton before really deforming - people just like handrails so they don't freak out and fall to their deaths after one to many Oranjebooms!   So there we are, fictional answers for fictional environments, but I'm always g...

Not a lot of people know this, but in between comics, it is sometimes necessary to wash your 3D models. This keeps them clean, working well, and nice and warm. Saves all that nasty hanging around between comics, getting chilly on someone's hard drive, saves them getting any unsightly rashes etc. So here's Kal and Anna about to enjoy a lovely bath.   Ah, I am enjoying playing around with the characters so much! Unfortunately I do not have a lot of time these days to devote to making comic #4, but I will do it sometime I am quite sure!  I've written the plot, it's all ready to make the comic, I just need to find the time - and if you have ever tried to make a CGI comic (or even just a little scene), you will know - it takes a long time!! Comic #4 will include the lovely Anna (big thank-yous again to Sindy Anna J for giving away the V4 character morphs for Anna Smit, early last year! That made this possible as I had a good character base to start on), and of course our dear Kal. We'll also have some awkward moments and introduce a new and very annoying character! Hee hee! Ooh, also, a few people have asked me where I got the scene I use in my comics from - it is Industrial Loft, by TruStyles (find their store on Renderosity). Also, the bedding was by someone called STZ (also on Renderosity - they have a huge marketplace...

A quick one-month check-in 🙂 I've had a few spare minutes and thought I'd spend them dipping into some 3D. Rather than try the madness of a new comic (which will happen at some point, but not yet), I thought I'd play around with clothing a little. I think outfits are important for characters, how they express their personality or reveal something of who they are. Without that we just have lifeless mannequines that just aren't believable. Anyway here's some (grainy) test renders with a few optional outfits ☺️ Kal next, when I get a few more spare minutes! (I realise Anna says she "Doesn't have a bikini" at one point in comic 2, but I'm pretty good at continuity so if I use this bikini top, I'll find a way no doubt! Hehehh.)

So listen, the thing about developing comics, is it takes an ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE amount of time. Apparently. I realise I've exploded three comics in quick succession out there into the interweb world, but I can't keep up that pace. I think the time taken for this 3D development just sorta took me by surprise, and though I'd hoped to finish comics #4 and #5 by sort of March (I haven't started writing comic #5 yet but #5 would probably complete my little dream Aunt-Nephew series), the thing is I just don't think it's gonna happen that quick. Real life has taken a few ... interesting turns recently and so I sorta need to have a break for a bit. Anyway, I would apologise for the delay but let's be honest, it's a free comic and it's just for fun, so.   I mean, sure it's sexy, erotic fun, and I really REALLY want to read comics 4 & 5 myself as well, and sure I'm super SUPER proud of how comics 1-3 have come out, but still. Time for a little brea...

OKAY!! Right, I've got permission from a certain comic author (SAJ) to use (and psychologically dismantle) their character! Woop woop! This guy (any guesses what comic he's from?!) >>>>>>>>>>> So ... basically ... as you can see I don't have his skin for some reason; does anyone have the Rex (for Poser) face textures please? They should be in Runtime/Textures/Poser10/Rex/ - I need his face and body/limb jpegs please if possible! tirayugen@gmail.com ~ No idea why I don't have them, my version of Poser must be corrupted waahhhh!! (I would ask Sindy for hers but I kinda feel like I'm pushing my luck already so ...! lollers) Have I used enough exclamation marks in this blog?! Nope! Sorry, I'm just excited because I've got permission to trash this dang character while I make my MAGNIFICENT comic and its various points about toxic and non-toxic masculinity! HOOORAYYY!!!!!

So listen, it's great that lots of people like my comic - I like it too, so that's good! I have had a few people ask questions so here's the answers: When will comic #4 be out? I'm not sure - I've written it, but the thing is that it hopefully ties in with another comic series by another author , so I'm thinking I need to get permission to reference a few of their characters first before I make my comic. Not for legal reasons - I'm sure it's not a copyright issue - but I just think it's polite if I've got other people's 3D characters turning up! So ... how long until the next comic? All being well, I'll start building comic 4 within a few weeks and I think it'll be about a month and a half from then. So don't get too excited - these things take lots of work! Go and get some exercise. What 3D program do you use? Kinda few different ones, like Daz3D, Hexagon, Poser and 3DS Max. I wouldn't probably recommend anyone get into 3D d...

... even if you don't celebrate Christmas, have a good break from work (hopefully ...) and I will see you here in the new year!  I'm working on COMIC #4! Yay! The script's all written, and it's going to be ... squishy and squelchy and very, very yummy. Oh there's also going to be a big argument*! Hooray! OK so a quick comic update, I'm pleased to see there seems to be a bit of a buzz for my silly comic series already heheh :) I've done all rendering and built the pages, I just need to add speech bubbles behind the text now and then that'll be it. Check back sometime! A few days!
